Rackham-illustrated Alice's Adventures in Wonderland quote mugs
Arthur Rackham is possibly the most famous illustrator of children stories from The Golden Age of Children's' Books. These mugs bear an edited reproduction of some of my favourite images for Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland.
The illustration show: The Mad Hatter, Alice and the March Hair at the tea-party; Alice and Absolom debating who they are; The Red King and Queen at the trial of the Knave of Hearts; and finally Alice falling down the rabbit hole.
I have reduced the sizes of the overall image to focus on key areas of the story of the image, blending the edges of the image to avoid harsh borders to Rackham's magical artwork.
Each image has a quote from Lewis Carroll, appropriate to the image.
I then hand-print text and images onto both sides of high-quality bright-white 11oz mugs by sublimation printing, before shipping them out to you.
PRODUCT INFO
The mug is a high-quality, 11oz (300ml), bright-white finish. They are (approx) 9.5cm tall and 8cm diameter. Each is hand-printed in Yorkshire.
They are microwave & Dishwasher safe, though I recommend maximise the life-span of the mugs, please wash in the top tray of your dishwasher (from personal experience, I have over 300 washes on mugs I have made, with no colour fade or loss of gloss yet). As with all things, hand washing will achieve the greatest longevity.
The mugs are shipped in a plain cardboard smash-proof recyclable box.
