Edgar Allan Poe was is best known for his poetry and short stories, especially his tales of mystery and the macabre... Taking two of my favourite Poe Poems for inspiration, I present for your delectation... The Raven and The Tell Tale Heart.
The artwork is supplied in an ivory 8"x10" mount, ready to be put into a standard frame.
Design 1: The Tell Tale Heart quote.
The short story is reproduced in the background. Over which is foiled an anatomical heart. Finally, printed over all is the quote, "I talked more fluently, and with a heightened voice. Yet the sound increased".
Illustrated with red foil, it is also available in purple, green.

Design 4: The Raven quote.
"Once upon a midnight dreary..." taken from a French interpretation of The Raven, the illustration is overprinted witht he full text of the poem in white. Onto this image is foiled the quote, ""Leave my loneliness unbroken!—quit the bust above my door!Take thy beak from out my heart, and take thy form from off my door!” Quoth the Raven “Nevermore.”"
